Curriculum
We believe that free play is
a very important part of the day. It is a time when children are
able to make choices about things they want to do, to promote a
sense of initiative.
When developing the
curriculum, we focus on children's needs, likes and abilities. We
see children as individuals who develop at different levels and
have different needs. Our environment provides learning materials
grouped in centers for children to explore and learn at their own
pace. Through play children are able to: get along with others,
develop body coordination, express themselves, and construct their
own intelligence.
Nutrition
The Kidstuff Program will
provide children with a nutritional midmorning and mid-afternoon
snack. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing their child
with breakfast and a bag lunch.
Holidays
Ludlow Community
Center/Randall Boys and Girls Club is closed for eleven holidays
out of the year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day,
Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans
