Preschool

The Kidstuff Program is designed to provide Full-Day preschool slots for parents seeking a safe, healthy, and educational environment for their child.
Staff are trained, experienced, and certified by the Department of Early Education & Care (EEC).
The environment will meet the needs and provide the support for each individual child in accomplishing the developmental tasks of early childhood. Under no circumstances will a child or family be discriminated against because of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, disability, or marital status.

Admission:

  • Children must be 2.9 to 5 years of age to enter the Kidstuff Program.
  • Admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Before admitting a child into the program an appointment must be scheduled with the Preschool Director to provide an go over information pertaining to the child and program. At this time the parent/guardian will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and view the classroom.
  • Enrollment forms are available upon request. When enrollment is full, a waiting list will be set in place and parents/guardians will be called as slots become available.

Hours:
Hours of operation are as follows: 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Curriculum
We believe that free play is a very important part of the day. It is a time when children are able to make choices about things they want to do, to promote a sense of initiative.
When developing the curriculum, we focus on children's needs, likes and abilities. We see children as individuals who develop at different levels and have different needs. Our environment provides learning materials grouped in centers for children to explore and learn at their own pace. Through play children are able to: get along with others, develop body coordination, express themselves, and construct their own intelligence.

Nutrition
The Kidstuff Program will provide children with a nutritional midmorning and mid-afternoon snack. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing their child with breakfast and a bag lunch.
